2D drawing, 3D CAD model and provide them with 3D printable version of the model.
To explain further, in the world of 3D printing, it is common to expect that any drawing designed in 3D CAD will NOT automatically print
correctly without first making minor modifications to the 3D CAD file. When scaling a building down to the size of a model of about 6" to 8"
tall, real world designs available in 3D CAD software packages will not sustain themselves during printing, as a result of being reduced.
Therefore it is necessary to make modifications to the files to ensure that they print correctly. Such modifications will be to items
such as windows, railings, staircases and balconies especially in Architectural drawings. Consideration also needs to be given to buildings
that are designed with basements and foundations.
